About Face Up

Face Up is an independent comparison of online casinos for players in Ireland. It is run by an editorial team. We are not a casino and we are not an operator: we take no bets, hold no player money and open no accounts.

What the name means

A card lying face up hides nothing. Every fact on this site lies the same way: beside it you can see whether we verified it, on which date, and in which document or on which page we read it.

What we do not know, we say

When nobody on the team has read a fact yet, the page says “Not yet verified”. When we looked and the operator’s own documents state nothing, the page says “Not published”. We do not fill a gap with an estimate or a number from another market.

What we have not done

We have not opened an account, made a deposit or requested a withdrawal at any casino in the top. What you read here comes from the operators’ own sites and terms, from what their partner programmes tell us, and from independent reviews. How we check the facts explains each source.

How the site earns money

Through affiliate links: when you visit a casino from this site and sign up, we may earn a commission. The affiliate disclosure says what that does and does not change.
